Floodlights
FloodlightsThe floodlights are available for use by club members. You need to get tokens, which you put in the slot machines in the small shed at the corner of the courts, from tokens.buxtontennisclub@gmail.com CoachingCoaching is available for juniors and adults. Please see the coaching link above for more detailsClub SessionsThere are open club sessions, usually on Saturday morning and Monday evening: please check the club calendar for details. Everyone is welcome -- we do everything we can to make sure that fours are properly balanced: as with coaching, it's better for everyone to play to their best, and people don't get too hung up on who actually wins. The club supplies balls for these sessions from time to time, but there is not a ready supply of new balls: there are usually used balls in the shed, but you should be prepared to use your own balls if there aren't any very nice ones there. Please check the calendar, because the times can vary, particularly in winter, and as with the club sessions it's better to keep everything up-to-date in one place than to try to maintain multiple copies. TeamsWe enter teams in the Sheffield & District men's, women's, mixed and winter leagues. The best thing to do if you want to play in one of the teams is to talk to someone at one of the club sessions -- some of the teams play at a very high level and some in the lower divisions, and there will usually be someone who around who will be able to tell you which teams are most suitable for you.ContactsCatherine Reeds: welfare.buxtontennisclub@gmail.com if you have any concerns about people's behaviour.
